We do most vaccines but not the flu shot. I've known too many people that get the shot, and still manage to catch the flu every year. It's a shot in the dark on which strain to vaccinate against and flu strains are constantly changing. So for that reason, we avoid them.

I got the mist and had a bit of a cough and runny nose but it wasn't bad at all nor have I gotten sick since.

my mil has gotten the mist before and had a runny nose for a few days but thats it.

I don't vaccinate my children or myself for the flu. They have all the standard ones (is that the right phrase lol) though. Like MmR,Dtp, Etc.
