Any good websites?
I dont actually home school, my son does go to preschool but i like GreatSchools the website is www.greatschools.org They have worksheets and activites you can do with your kids, help for disabilities and behavior, and you can even search school and get reviews and stuff on them and more! I like this site a lot. A few pages that are marked preschool/kindergarden and a little much as in beyond what is is doing so far but the teachers said thats ok. Some websites try to take it further for additional learning for some kids. Other than that the website is great.
Any other questions you can ask on here or feel free to message me! Good luck!!
I plan on looking up learning activities. I'm just not sure what is age appropiate. I thought about looking for shape cookie cutters or playdough cutters. Sink and float activities. I have ideas but not many.

Do you have a preference in the type/philosophy?Are you wanting to start soon (as a 3 yr-old) or wait?
And do you want to continue HSing all the way through? There are lots of HSers & teachers here that can help!
:-)

I have no idea. But I want to use hands on type activities. I just bought stuff to make homeade playdough where they are going to help adding colors and mixing ingredients.

- Work on your own ability to nurture and enfold your child into life on Earth.
- Establish a rhythm for your child, your family, your life. If you are still struggling with rhythm when you hit homeschooling for the grades, it will be difficult to focus on teaching. Remember though, rhythm is not a schedule but a flow.
- Establish health of your child through protection of the 12 senses, use of warmth, establishing rhythm.
- Repetition! It is what little people need!
- Play, singing, interaction
- Including your child in household chores
- Outside and sensory experiences
- Fostering the imagination through oral storytelling

I like that. I am dealing with 3 yr old twins and a 4 year old. So i will just take the opportunity to teach everyday with simple things. I bought stuff to make homeade playdough. And they help me do chores. They love to cook with me.

Www.abcmouse.com. I think it's $8 a month or something - it's like preschool games, etc, but they track your child to offer games at their instructional level
Adventures in learning preschool curriculum - super expensive, but basically a curriculum that gets shipped to your house each month. I think it's like $500 for the year (it's around $400 plus shipping)
