And I have a question. My 3 yr old is always hungry, I feed her two pancakes or a decent size portion of oatmeal with toast and milk and 15-20min later she's hungry again. Is this normal? Should I feed when she wants or should I make her wait it out? I usually make her wait an hour after breakfast, lunch and dinner to feed her again. Advice/suggestions/opinions appreciated TIA

Has this been going on for a long time? If it's just recently, maybe it's a growth spurt. Otherwise, maybe add some protein to her breakfast to help fill her up. As long as the snacks are healthy ones, I don't see a problem giving snacks between meals. I don't let me 4 yr old DD snack very often because then she won't eat her meals--but sounds like that's not the case for your DD! :)

Hi, welcome to the group. :)

My son, who will be 21 months on the 5th, is the SAME way!  He is hungry all day long all thet ime and eats a lot of food!  He has always been this way.  I am surprised he is not bigger than he is.  He is only 21/22 pounds.
