Well usually if they have a snow day I do too. If they are sick and none of my back ups can watch them I have to call in to work, like I did today because my two year old is running a fever and coughing. Hopefully if she is still sick tomorrow one of my back ups can take care of her.
We live in metro Atlanta, so if it flurries, all the bread and milk are gone and no one comes out for days LOL. If he's sick, it just depends on what it is and what my schedule is for the day. If it's not contageous my retired in laws pick him up from my office. If it's something thye could catch, I will either work from home or take a sick day. There have been times where I've had to bring him into the office for a few hours while I get something done and then take him home for the rest of the day. I'm very fortunate that my husband is a police officer and has days off during the week so he can keep ds when he's sick.
I work full time and have daycare and a great support network and just found a gym with daycare while I work out! Yes, I am pretty psyched about having a place to work out and my son can play. First time in two years that I feel okay about working out and knowing my son is in a safe environment and i can check in on him with the closed caption tv monitor at the work out stations. Happy and healthy :-)
I have to cancel my appointments for the day and adjust my budget to make up for the lost income.
either take of work or hubby or MIL (since she usually watches them anyway)
