So my daughter is 2 1/2 and we recently just put her in a toddler bed. She sleeps pretty well in it. But some days she just doesn't want to nap at all and then she gets so cranky at night. On a normal day she wakes up at about 8, she goes to my MIL for a few hours a day as I work part-time. I pick her up at about 2 and we come home and play. She usually naps at about 3 for usually 2 hours. She wakes, we eat and play more. She usually goes to sleep at about 10. So she normally gets 12 hours a day. Does that sound about right? I know every kid is different, but I was just wondering
Naps about 2 hours around noon
I think 12-15 is about average for a 2 year old. My DD is 3 1/2. I couldn't tell you exactly when she falls asleep but generally she naps for about 3 hours and sleeps for about 11-13. She's always been a sleeper though. We say it's her super power!
My 2 year old sleeps about 11 hours at night (no naps) and my 5 year old about 10 hours.
I think 12 hours is what they're supposed to sleep for.
My 4 and 3 year olds don't nap anymore. They haven't since they were 1.5 (sucks when they give up naps) and they go to bed at 8pm every night and are usually awake around 6 or 7. So they get under the 12 hours but it works for them.
My daughter is 3 and goes to bed about 8pm and gets up at 6 am. She sometimes naps. My older kids go to bed at 8:30 and get up between 6-6:30 usually.
Caden, 5: 10 hours per night with no naps during the day.
Leo, 1: 12 hours per night with a 2 hour nap (at most).
DD is 3 1/2. She wakes up at 730-800am and goes to bed at 8pm. No more naps for us... :(
