My daughter is 3 in April and as a new year's resolution, I said she would be potty trained by the end of January. I had tried before, but she was holding in her poop and making herself constipated. So, three weeks ago I started and she did amazingly. I am so proud of her.
As of today, she hasn't had a nighttime accident in a week and has been consistently going during the day without an accident for two.
During the potty training I was stressed because my little boy turned 1 January 19th and I was weaning him off the bottle, but he's done with that too. I am just so happy. Less diapers to buy and she's becoming such a big girl. Anyway, just had to post this. I am so proud of both of them.
Hurray Zoella!!!
THat's awseomse! I love that name too :). My son was the same way, rihgt at 3 years old. Potty trained in about a month AND night trained at the same time :)
Thanks. I am so happy. Get this though. I posted this and then she peed on the floor because she was busy playing with a toy. LOL Oh well. Still proud of her.

Thank you. I passed that on to her and she giggled.

Hooray!!! Proud of you both. Good job mama!!
Haha! My son occasionally has mini accidents and he will even say he has to pee, but doesn't want to stop playing. He starts to pee in his underwear then runs to the bathroom. I hate that he doesn't stop 30 seconds before. Most of the time it's not even enough to get his pants wet, but just damp enough I have to change his underwear. Kids are just stubborn sometimes. Glad to hear she's doing great, its such a relief to only have 1 in diapers.

1 in diapers is definitely better than two! I am dredding potty training my youngest. So far, he has been more difficult than my daughter in every aspect. So, I just know he's goign to be a hassle to potty train. Oh well. I can hope he takes his sister's example and wants to be a big like her

I waited until she ran out of pull ups and had her wear big girl underwear. I told her that when she has to pee tell me or run to the potty. She didn't get it at first, but after a couple accidents, she learned and every time she went on the potty I said Woohoo! and gave her a big hug and spun her around. Her dad did the same thing. Eventually she went on her own and now she just runs to the potty and tells me after. When we're in a store she says peepee peepee mama peepee and then we go to the restroom.
It feels too easy.

That's great! That's how my dd learned as well. Pull ups didn't work for us either.
Caden had a few minor accidents. Just keep going :) :)
