Hi everyone! This might get some controversy. I signed my twin daughters up for an upcoming pageant! They are 3. I just want to test it out. I wont go completely crazy... but it is a Glitz so I am so excited to get custom dresses and such! Anyone pro in the pageant world? Tips ?

I've thought about putting my girls in pageants. But haven't done it. I have twin 5yr old girls and a 22month old. But I know only 2 of my 3 would like it lol.

Nope, thankfully that stuff isn't popular in my neck of the woods.  I think they're creepy.

I hate pagents, to me its showing little kids that if you are "pretty" or can afford to buy expensive dresses you are better than everyone else..

Nope. I wouldn't do anything like that. Makes me sick. Now, if they're old enough to decide it's what they want to do for themselves, fine, I'll support them. I won't choose for them because it's something I missed out on or something. Thankfully, my girls are tomboys.

There is no way I would ever do that to my daughters. I think it is absolutey disgusting to dress your small children up like little prostitutes and have them act like they belong on a pole in order to win prizes. What is it you want your children to do later in life? How do you want them to view themselves as women, as people?
