I AM LIVID!!! Please don't bash. This is just a vent.
I sent my older 3 kids to their dads this weekend cuz they had winter break and hadn't seen him since Christmas.
I get a message around 3-ish. My xdf tells me his stepmom had taken our youngest on a trip to Walmart with her. They got back and her hair had been cut! I mean GONE!! (At 2 and a half, she didn't have much to begin with.)
Now i have a problem with this for 3 reasons.
1) She was involved in a house fire as an infant and one side of her head is scarred. I was PURPOSELY waiting til she got older to cut her hair so i could train it to lay in a certain way. This was so that the scarred side of her head would be more covered, since the hair on that side is considerably thinner. I was doing this to protect my LO, since she'd be starting school before too long and we all know kids can sometimes be cruel.
2) His step-mom did NOT have permission from either myself or her father. That is completely disrespectful.
3) This is my youngest girl and the LAST girl i'll ever have cuz i'm getting my tubes tied in March. And the sweetest rite of passage from babyhood to toddlerhood was STOLEN from me.
I'm so angry and i just want to cry at the same time. :'(

I would be just as angry! My sweet girl will be four in June & has yet to have a hair cut & when she does, it will be I that takes her to get it done!! Sorry, Mama!

even without reasons 1 and 3, i would be pissed if someone cut my child's hair without permission. i'm sorry she was so disrespectful.
