My 3 year old can't wear anything that is not gold or gold planted.if she does her ears turn black .But she keeps losing one of her earrings its just getting to be to much money to replace. Does anyone know if there are different kind of earrings that I could put on her that will work at good as gold but save me money when she comes up with one missing

melt the ones you already have and make it into a new earring. Maybe try a different type of backing such as the rubber kind, which tend to have a more secure hold. Maybe just do studs. Maybe she doesnt want earrings overall, so try not having her wear them and see how she reacts.

No the hole isn't too big. It happens when she is sleeping.

That's a good idea melting them down. Rubber backing helps holds the earring on but tint give her ear room to breath. When we got her her last pair it wa the first time we didn't get the screw backing. We were told to keep the backing on the the rubber and when I checked her ear it wasn't pretty. Studs all we buy for her. I have a fear the if they are hoops or anything like that they could get pulled out. I know she likes wearing them. She never ask for them out and she likes to help pick them out. She also likes to show her earring off
