None of my children have ever had an ear infection so I am curious, what causes them? I heard swimming does but what else if there is no swimming?

Oh no! :(

My son used to get a lot of them, too. Now we keep Garlic Ear Oil on hand. Place the bottle in a bowl of warm water to warm up the oil a bit and drop some in the ears. Feels so good and really helps with the infection!

Good luck, and (((hugs))) to you both.
