Hand me downs and consignment is where we get most of our clothes.

 Yes they do.

I am big on name brand clothes and shoes for them $100 dollar pair of jeans and so on. But they still get consignment or hand me downs from family, and we always hand our stuff down to either this family my grandparents know or to my friends kids. Some of the clothes they wear have been through 5-6 kids before it go to them. They are camp and play clothes, unless still in excellent shape.

I like new espensive clothes for them for school, and then they change into other clothes when they get home from school.

The only one who does not get hand me downs, is my 16.5 month old, my older girls are 5 and 11, so she wont fit, and all the younger kids in my family (babies younger then my 16 month old) are way bigger then her, she wears 6-9 months clothes at 16 months, 18lbs and 27 inches long. lol she has been wearing the same clothes sinc e she was 6 months old, she has not really grown since then. lol

Ugh srry I am a rambler. lol

Yup.  Up until now, the majority of his clothes have been hand me down from my sister.  But now the clothes that she gave me that fit him are winter clothes, so I had to go buy some new summer clothes.  But I go to Children's Place and buy them for super cheap.  No use buying expensive clothes that he will grow out of quickly.

No, but there isn't anyone to give us hand me downs. And it's cheaper to get brand new clothes from Walmart than it is to buy from thrift shops around here.

When she was younger, yes it was nice to get those hand me downs.  I think those stopped at about 2 for us :(
