won't drink water

Do any of you ladies know of a way to get your toddler to drink water? My son will not drink plain water and he's starting to do the same with his milk. He's starting to get picky and he wasn't like this before. Thanks in advance.

I still dilute his juice, half water half juice. His Dr said that's fine. Ds drinks about 10 to 15 sippies a day. He doesn't like milk so I implement calcium in different ways. Maybe you can try putting water in something fun. Maybe a special cup or a water bottle.

Have you tried putting ice in it. My daughter love ice in her sippy cup.

What do you do when he refuses the water?  If water or milk is all you give him then that is what he will drink.  That looks harsh in writing but is not meant to sound mean.  He may throw a fit or two if you don't give in and give him something else but he will get it after a time or two and drink the water or milk.  I sometimes put a little lemon in my son's water for flavor so he can have something different.  If he likes lemon you could try that.

Start diluting what ever you are giving him to drink. That how I break my kids of bottles and works great. Over the course of a couple weeks, it ends up being only water and by then its not an issue.
