Anyone else think it would be adorable to dress my grandfather up and let my DD "catch" him filling stockings on Christmas Eve?

He has cancer and this is most likely the last Christmas we will have with him so I think it would be sweet to make it happen and video it for DD to have when she gets older. She loves him so much, I want to make and document as many good memories for her as I can!

***UPDATE***

Thank you for your support and kind words. We are looking for an outfit for him now. Praying he is clear headed enough come Christmas Eve to make it happen.

That's such a sweet idea, if he's down for it I'd do it for sure! I'm sorry he's unwell, I know how horrible cancer is..

I am sorry for his sickness. What does he think of it?

When he is "with us" he loves it. He is also battling dementia too so he is not always clear headed.

Absolutely, yes! He looks very much like Santa Claus. I'm so sorry to hear of his condition.

I bet he will be happy seeing your DD happy face. You should do it, I think they will both enjoy it. And what a thing for your DD to have later in her life!
