Tummy Troubles

My daughter (14 months) did fine on a milk based formula. Since trying to wean her from the formula and onto the suggested whole milk, she's been having lots of tummy troubles. She's constipated and she barely sleeps at night due to crying with discomfort. She just rolls around whining in pain. Sometimes she gets some relief when I feed her prunes but the milk is clearly upsetting her belly. If I give her straight formula for a day, she's fine.

Any suggestions?

My kids were the same way so we used silk soy milk. Helped wonders. Both did well with milk based formulas but couldnt handle cows milk. DS is fine with cows milk now hes 5.5 dd does ok with cows milk in small amounts like half cup or so

Try giving her less or switching to a lower fat milk. Some people just don't tolerate it well. You could also try organic milk or the lactose free milk.

Do you have a suggestion for an alternative?

I love almond milk. We don't have any allergies either. I might give that a try. Thanks.
