The primer took a while due to the dark blue walls.  The worst part was repainting the windows and doorframes the previous owner had painted a sandy beige color, which was harder to paint over then a blue wall. LOL

To complete the room, I need to put the white molding in here, I left one wall white to bright up the room, along with the window sill white. I was afraid that purple was too dark for an entire room... but we'll see! LOL

Her princess bedding, decals, drapes, and light switch cover is on it's way, I still need to get a rug, desk, and book shelf/lamp for her room. (she wanted a purple princess theme.)

I'm repainted the entire house - the dark brown in here was so brown it was almost black, this was just brightened up due to flash. She was helping me put primer on the walls. LOL

I'm repainting and reflooring my whole house, plus updating two bathrooms right now. while pregnant with twins, so it's been quite interesting.

It's a gorgeous color!

My daughter (age 4) wanted a 'pink and white princess bedroom'.

After:

This was the 'before' color. Our entire house is this antique white, even the ceilings. We are painting room by room..

Her Frozen sister's pillow. I made it myself since no frozen bedding was available at that time (Dec 2013)

if you haven't bought a desk already, here's what I got for my daughter's room. It fits her perfectly now (she just turned 4), but also will be enough until she's a teen.

I paired it with this chair in pink: She LOVES it.

I have four kids, my youngest two are girls. One is Pink lover and other is a purple lover. my purple lover would love that room. You can always add lil accents here and there of a lighter purple so it doesn't look so dark, maybe even look at finding a purple glowing paint and do stars or something like that.

That's super purple all right! I'm sure she'll love it.
