It's amazing how your life ends up. I intended to be a elementary teacher and started my college education at Franklin College in Franklin, IN. I, like most other people, worked to put my way through college. Unfortunatly I met my 3 oldest children's father and got married and I quit college to have and raise my children. I was pregnant when we married. Little did I know that he was an  extreme womanizer and other things. So we divorced, he went to jail, and I was a single mother of a 18 month old and 3 month old twins. Immediately I thought what now. In desperation I married another man 3 years later (we lived together 2 1/2 years). Same problems! He was great in the begining, so I thought! Little did I know that he would become lazy and addicted to alcohol and drugs!!!! I then began to wonder what was wrong with me and why do I turn these men the wrong way.  I found out that it wasn't entirely my fault. Now I am married to my youngest daughter's father and we have been married for 9 years and my oldest daughters are quickly following in my footsteps with the wrong men!! I don't know how to make them realize that what I did in my past is not the right way to live. So to get help I pray to God to help them because I can't go back and change what I did wrong. I know God helped with one of them because she came back home, with my grandson (18 months) and is working pt and going to school pt and we are here to help her with God's help. They go to church with me when I am well enough to go. Not only did I completely mess up my past working so hard to support my children (and carrying them for 9 months) only made a disease that I was born with worse so now I have been  diagnosed  with a permanent disability at 39 (I am now 42). I try very hard to help with my grandson but he generally goes to childcare. So I am happy that God led our daughter back to us. As you can tell I am a fairly new christian and a long time mother and a fairly new grandparent. That is why I joined CafeMom. I love to read the posts and give some advice if I can and to join the groups and study the Scripture with other moms.

Thanks for reading about my life. By the way my son is in the National Guard and is starting to come around. And my other daughter is talking about moving closer to home to be closer to me. I keep praying that she will figure out what kind of guy she is livin with before she marries him. Please help me pray.
