I am a mostly stay at home mom who is trying to start a new business with my college roommate and another friend.  I have two beautiful little boys and a husband I love VERY much.  (We have been together since I was 19- many years ago!)  We are a very active family- skiing , biking, basketball, hiking, etc.  I have completed four triathlons.  Usually, I am just trying to finish the race and am not too concerned about how I do.  I also enjoy the training- even though it is time consuming.

Trying to get a new business off the ground is a lot of work but also a lot of fun.  My roommate and I are marketing fair trade sterling silver and semi-precious stone jewelry online.  You can see us at http://www.ananyastudio.com/.  The jewelry is beautiful and it is amazing to work with the designer and hear about her efforts to bring sustainable businesses to the villages in Sri Lanka.  It is difficult to balance all the kid and family activities with all the business launching requirements.  However, it is exciting to try!
