Is it working yet? I think you really need a steroid. The sooner the better. Unfortunately this rash does not let you wait too long.

Hi - is zyrtec a steroid? You will most definitely need a steroid to stop the spread. I would call your pediatrician too. ER's don't always prescribe the best stuff.
