Hi my name is Rhoda Helene, I am in my early 40’s, married to the love of my life and have 6 beautiful children. While I am living a “Dream” now my life hasn’t always been good. I was in a difficult place for a number of years where the only thing or should I say “Person” to keep me alive was Christ and his undying love for me. I was married to someone who did not know how precious he was to God and did not know how to love me and through his brokenness caused me and our children a lot of hurt. There were times when despair and hopelessness would set in and I would fade into a dark corner of depression. Only through the prayers and love of my mom did I occasionally find my way out. In that relationship I was exposed to the Aids virus over and over again. I would often cry out to God why I had to be in the position I was in. In my heart I feared I would get the virus but Gods spirit protected me. Daily I would recite Psalms 93. During the time of my exposure I became pregnant with my 4th child and lost her. Through all of this I would reach out and find the arms of a loving God there to help me through. I learned that He would never leave me nor forsake me and that even though I walked through the valley of the shadow of death that I did not have to be afraid! After the death of my husband God opened the door of ministry to me and I have begun speaking at women’s groups and mentoring young women. I have always seen the same loving hand of God opened to each hurting person I shared with. I have seen miracles of healing in the minds and hearts of women that are suffering like I did. I will admit that I have lost a lot, but God is a god of Restoration and I know that like Job He will restore and improve all that I have through His grace and love. Even if I never regain all I lost the greatest gift is that I am blessed to live the remainder of my life as a living testimony That God still works supernaturally to protect His children, that He can heal the broken minds and hearts of hurting people and that He completes that which He begins!

If I were to be remembered by anyone here on earth I would pray that they would simply see Christ and His love for them.
