Thanks for all your encouragement - we visited the cardiologist yesterday, and got the go ahead to resume breastfeeding! Yay. I tried last night and she wasn't having it. She did latch on twice and sucked for about a minute each time, but then screamed for her bottle. It will take some time; I'm just happy she can at least have bm again!

Yes, I have two midwives who will be my doulas at the hospital. The health department won't allow me to labor at the birth center. I chose to have the baby at the hospital so she can get her IV medication immediately, but the midwives will be with me acting as "doulas." I really like them!

Thanks for all the info on breast feeding and baby fed eating. I've got it pinned up in the "nursery" for future reference!
