Oh my goodness...well, for starters, I work too much. I work too much because I feel compelled to do it all--save the world, provide for my family, provide for myself & husband, to pay off debt, etc. I also tend to think that when I have a good idea, I should GO FOR IT! It's been a few hard years of working too much, and I'm ready to do less "going for it" and more "spending time with the kids while they are still little." I love to write, and I used to blog like a fiend, and I had a very well-read blog on xanga. Currently I am writing a novel, and all that formerly-fun-and-dynamic energy for writing has been poured into the novel, with the exception of two stories a month that I write for ClubMom. (Check the Allergies category.) My husband and sons are the loves of my life and I am blessed beyond belief to have them all to myself. My Al-Anon family is another blessing in my life that is helping me really appreciate what I have in front of me all the time, which is a terrific life. I've always been enamored with the beauty of the world around me and the precious delicate balance of the natural world and our crazy hectic modern life, but lately I'm really into planning how best to build a life that has a really good balance between "paying the bills" and "being there."
