  • Personal Statement

    My name is Melinda, I have been married to my husband, John, since 2003.  We were finally blessed, after years of problems, with our little miracle in November 2007. 
    We are always ready to go somewhere and do something, but prefer to stay in our little home area. We found out a couple weeks ago we are expecting again, a surprise! We didn't think it would be possible to conceive on our own. We are very excited about our newest and very nervous that everything will go well with the pregnancy.

    I actually have an appointment next Friday with my doctor so I will bring up the Folic Acid with her. I really appreciate all of the info :o) Now my issue is just actually getting prego, lol....

    That's great! Im happy your new baby is cleft free. Makes things so much easier I am sure. It isn't genetic in mine either. I have no idea where the cleft came from. My oldest was born completely healthy. Just God's way of making our babies special I guess :o) I will definitley bump up my folic acid! Thanks for responding :o)

    Hi. I'm in your November 2007 Babies group. Congrats on your new little one! My November baby was a cleft baby like yours, and, was wondering if the new princess was born with one. We've been TTC #3 and that has been one of my worries. I hope you dont mind me asking......Again, congratulations!
