Are you interested in starting a Scentsy business? Owning a home business definitely has a lot of advantages, tax and otherwise, so it's something to check out. I've tried a few home businesses in the past, and I've found Scentsy to be the perfect fit for me for a lot of reasons:

 ~Very low start-up cost, it's only $99 +tax/shipping for everything you need.

~I am in no way a "candle freak", and yet everyone I meet loves Scentsy because the products are beautiful and they're safe around kids and pets.

~I don't sell Scentsy, I "share" it, and that makes it a great business for non-salesy types.

~I can work as much or as little as I want. I get to stay home with my two-year old son August, and he loves helping me label and sort orders!

~It's still a very new company (started in 2004), so I get to talk to people every day that have never heard of Scentsy and want to know more.

~I love hearing people's stories and memories as they smell all the different scents.

~I get to be part of a wonderful company that is more like a family and has two of the most down-to-earth people as its owners (they have 5 kids!).

~I'd always dreamed of being a manager/supervisor, but by not having a college degree that was almost impossible without having been at a company for years and years. With Scentsy, I got to start training people right away and it is truly my favorite part of the business.

~I get to help and see others achieve goals they never thought possible!

~I have achieved goals I never thought I would be able to, and I've been able to step out of my comfort zone. By doing so, I have learned so much about myself.

~I have truly learned the meaning of "Give more than you take", one of Scentsy's philosophies.
