I'm a first time mommy (MikHaillyne is 2 years old). I'm also a single parent as of April 2009.  Its taking a bit to get used to all of the lovely transitions, but we'll get there eventually. 

I am a practicing pagan. Please do not label me as a Wiccan, not all pagans are Wiccan. I believe in the All-Spirit, which is neither male nor female, but also is both. At times I call this entity God, at others Goddess. I'm sure the All-Spirit doesn't mind my need to be closer to it, and that is exactly what adding a gender does for me. I have been practicing my beliefs for 8 years now, after studying religion in general for 4 years. Don't get me wrong, I still study religion. I do it because I love it. The beliefs of others facinate me. I'm more than happy to hear about what people belive in and why, so if you'd like to message me about it, i'll listen. However, I find it very rude of someone to push their religion on another person. Which is why I'm telling you what I believe, not what you should. I intend to conitnue with this attitude when it comes to my children. They will know what mommy believes, but will be encouraged to search for what is right for them.

Since posting this statement, I have received many emails asking for more information or explainations of my beliefs.  I am more than willing to go into detail.  I do not preach, or attempt to convert people (its actually against my personal beliefs to do so); However, I am more than willing to give anyone interested the answers they seek.  BUT, its very difficult to do so without knowing what you want to know.  If you want to know something, please be clear as to what you want.  Otherwise, I could go on for pages and pages about this stuff :-)
