I'm a 47 year old mother of a 9 year old.  He is the light of my life.  My passions would be photography, quilting, scrapbooking and reading.  My husband and I have been married 27 years in May.  We are struggling with our son and school right now.  He has major difficulties in Math and spelling.  We are always looking for ways to help him academically so any suggestions are always welcome.

 I'm new to CafeMom and I laughingly tell people that I am computer illiterate.  I am trying to learn.  My sister is actually the one who discovered this site and she has learned a lot of things to do with her photo's - she loves photography too.  I am looking for people out there who share my love of quilting, scrapbooking and photography and free advise on how to handle children is an added bonus.
