Hi, my  name is Becky Lockwood-Reidmiller.   I joined Cafe Mom to make new friends to share ideas, and network with like-minded Moms who want to leverage their time and earn a significant recession proof income from home.

In 2006 I became a single mom.   I had worked for the same company for 10 years.  Although it was tough, we were secure.   I took some much needed vacation time off and the day I returned to work, my employer told me they were eliminating my position....I had lost my income!   

At first I was shocked at the news, but over the years I've been very passionate about financial freedom; and was totally fed up with daily grind and trading my time for money.  At the time of my job loss, I decided to find a better way and went on a mission to earn a living working from home. I tried every home based business on the planet spending at least $15-20K, which left me feeling extremely frustrated and further broke.  I drained all my savings and retirement accounts to stay afloat; the whole experience was devastating both financially and emotionally.    It took me 10 months to find employment, and here we are today, our Nation in a global recession.    Millions of people experiencing the same awful circumstances I went through at the front end of the recession.       

I've never given up.....I believe all my past experiences, research and education have lead me to the Work at Home United family, and I am so proud to be among the elite in the home-based business industry; I truly enjoy helping people take charge of their financial future to find the same freedom to create and live the life of their dreams too!

Im currently married to a wonderful man named Bill, who is my "knight in shining armor" and love of my life (I took charge of my love live too, e-Harmony does work!   :)

I'm mom to Danielle, a lovely 19 year old in her sophmore year of college, and step-mom to Alexis, a delightful, 15 year old girl.

I'm passionate about the environment and living green. I enjoy being out in nature - walking/hiking/biking.    I'm a vegetarian and try to eat only raw, whole foods.....it's super easy and very delicious!

In my free time I LOVE to play in the mud - I do wheel-thrown pottery to relax.  :)   I enjoy an occasional Pilates class as well.
