I live in northern Maine. I've lived here my whole life, and can't imagine living anywhere else.  

My fiance and I got engaged Christmas 2008, a few months after our son was born. We've known eachother a little less than two years, and had only been dating for 5 months when I got pregnant. We met through his sister, and she wasn't very happy when we started dating.
 

I love to shop. When I have the money to do so. The things I like to buy are clothes, mostly, and chocolate (not for me, so much as I like to make candy to give away) and baby stuff. I love buying stuff for my son.

I love to read and my favorite books are the Twilight saga. They just keep getting better.. My favorite movie is probably still the Wizard of Oz, though I really liked the "Tin Man" movie that just came out.

I used to work at an animal shelter as a kennel technician, which means I cleaned cages, socialized cats, organized adoptions, and medicated on a basic level.

I love to cook, especially desserts. I enjoy housekeeping most of the time, but am rather laid-back about it since the baby was born. Not a whole lot of time to relax and unwind, so when he's asleep I do that instead of house-keeping, which waits until "Daddy" gets home from work.

I don't smoke, and rarely drink (though when I do someone else has the  baby so I probably drink too much.. ) 

My favorite time of year is late spring, right before it gets too hot, but the flowers are all in bloom and the mud is gone. My favorite time of day is early morning, when I'm awake for it. When it's so peaceful, people havn't yet started doing their thing, being too busy to sit back and enjoy themselves.

I have two cats, who are also my babies. Cyrus and Tonks, my sweeties. They're both between 3 and 4 years old.

I can't afford travel right now, but I wish that I could go to Ireland, Scotland, or England, or all three. I want to see castles, inside and out, before I die.
