I am a new mom to be.. my due date is December 18th. its a girl... her name will be Cordelia
Although I don't have any kids now I have a boat-load of common sense.... I keep asking my mom if I am going to go stupid when I have my baby... Most of the parents I know Just seem to do/say ridiculous things when it comes to raising their kids for example
"Eat all your supper or no desert for you.... oh you didn't eat any of your supper here is a huge scoop of ice-cream anyway"..... WHAT KIND OF PARENTING IS THAT???
or parents that pick up a baby every time they even start to cry a little they've been changed fed burped rocked and laid down to sleep... ops they start crying again gotta pick them up... healthy no fever... lay them down again... ops they start to fuss a little gotta pick them up...
congratulation you just taught your child that no matter what every-time they cry or fuss they will get picked up.
Seriously what kind of parenting is that... Will I go stupid when I have my baby or were the majority of parents I know stupid before they had kids??
