For one, on most days I still can't believe that I'm my boys' mom in the way that my mom is my mom (if you know what I mean). As you all know, motherhood is pretty incredible--I still get that "full" feeling in those little moments when one of my kids does something too adorable/bizarre/brilliant for words.  My oldest (4 1/2) just started kindergarten and I'm elated! He's a smarty. My youngest (3) dances better than Micheal Jackson from his "Off The Wall," more innocent days. I'm serious, people form circles around him when he gets his boogie on. I love: guacamole (well all things Mexican, hello margeritas), the trancendent book The Secret Life of Bees, being a girl, Brooklyn, great hip-hop, small acts of kindness, New York's fashion week, writing, coffee Haagen Dazs and CNN's Anderson Cooper (love the grey hair!)  Although I occasionally fantasize about wearing $700 shoes, I promise, if I had 'em, I certainly wouldn't be a snob about it. Well, not a big snob. LOL! On the flip side, I can be kind of deep, I love thoughtful, intelligent people who can kick it about anything and everything. I was a magazine editor for many years; I've covered teens, women's lifestyle, and pop culture. So talk to me moms!
