My two children are grown with kids of their own.  I'm now a birdie Mom to 35 parrots.....What was I thinking?  I have four Grandchildren....real children....not just birds. lol  I'm recently widowed and still missing my husband so very much.

I'm a clean fanatic and actually enjoy housework...yes, really!  Well, of course I'd have to with 35 parrots, wouldn't I?  Otherwise I'd live in a real mess.

I live on a Lake and enjoy a cottage-type life all summer long.  Winters can be long here in Canada so you need a winter sport or hobby to get you through that time of year.  Spring is my favourite season and I'm convincing myself that it is just around the corner...or trying to anyway.

I can be a 'loner' and sometimes must push myself to get out and do things with other people.  I can party with the best of you though too.  My husband and I loved to dance and were always one of the last couples to leave a function.  I'll miss that now but am so thankful for the wonderful years we had together.  I consider myself very lucky to have loved so deeply for so many years.
