I'm 28pregnant with my first, and probably only, child. A little girl, Avigail, due in late September. I was born with complete transposition, google it if you don't know, don't feel like explaining. I've had open heart surgery twice, once at six months the second time at four years old. The first was to correct my transposition-Mustard procedure, the second to fix a blow out in my inferior vena cava caused by scar tissue from surgery #1. I've had two ablations, the first to fix a fib, the second for AV nodal reentrant tachycardia. At 24 years of age I had placement of a pacemaker. Despite all this I have had no problems with this pregnancy, so I feel extremely blessed. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to be a mother; it's something I never thought I would know. I love this little girl more than I've loved anyone in my life, and I don't even know her yet...
