Hi everyone reading this, I'm Christine. I'm a single mom in her young 40's raising four great kids. I'm also a student, I've been taking classes since 2006 and I'll be starting nursing school next Fall. Three of my kids (the boys) are on the Autistic Spectrum which makes things lively at home. My oldest is 21 and has been a challenge over the years; he has Asperger's Syndrome and can be extremely frustrating but he's coming around. My dd, Gaelen, is 17 and she is a great kid all around. She's an A student, very responsible and smart and a huge help. She's a senior in high school and we're looking at colleges around here. Tristan is twin #1 (he's the one with the glasses) and he has Asperger's Syndrome. He is extremely bright but has some social issues which is sad. He's very friendly but he doesn't really know how to interact with kids his own age. He loves history and wants to work with animals as an adult. Perry is twin #2 and he has Autism. He has been a serious challenge lately behavior wise but it seems to be getting better. Autism and puberty do not mix well. But, he also can be very sweet and funny and we adore him. He acts like a much younger child and loves dinosaurs. My life can be crazy but I take it one day at a time and thank God I have a great sense of humor and I'm tough as nails. We are a Disney family and try to go every year, it's really cathartic. I read a lot, I scrapbook, I love nature and decorating. I am really looking forward to meeting people here! Thanks for reading!
