  • Personal Statement

    What can I say about me? I'm a 36 years old, married mother of four . I have been identifying myself this way for so long I can't remember what used to be interesting about me. For years when people have asked me "how are you?" I have only been able to answer in terms of how my family is doing, since I had started to lack a personality of my own.

    I am currently in the middle of a revolution. I am trying to regain an individual personality, and to appreciate that I am an interesting person with something to offer the world outside my diaper changing skills.

    I love my job, but I preferred being a stay at home mom. I love my husband, but there can always be too much of a good thing! My ambition is to be a writer, and I believe I have something to offer in that world, but I lack the courage so far to stretch out of my comfort zone. I'll get there one day. Still if you read something here you enjoy, indentify with or are moved by, please let me know. The reaction of unbiased readers can only be encouraging.
