I have three kids - all grown. I have two adorable, precious grandchildren and once again, two wonderful poodles, plus a sweet little cockapoo. Oh yeah, and a great husband! I am a disabled stay at home mom so I have lots of time for the things I love, including working on my myspace page and now Cafemom!

n September 15, 2008, Granddaughter Gianna stood alone for the first time. This small step towards walking is a giant leap towards toddlerhood! Her grandma is incredibly proud and taking this new development one step at a time.

n January 1, 2009, Gianna spoke her first sentence: Love You!. Grandma was amazed and proud of her little linguistic wonder. Family is speculating what the next sentence will be. Grandma can be heard saying "love you, grandma" to encourage her grandchild's choice of her second sentence.

n January 27, 2009, Dante blew out the birthday candles for the third time! He wasn't sure what to do at first, but once Mommy demonstrated, he did it like an old pro! Thankfully there weren't that many candles so they all went out on the first try! Grandma was so proud!

We're finishing up our homestudy and what not for the kids we have. In the process, I think of you, on the other side of the fence. Hope all is going ok for you all. I've been praying that what's in the best interest of the children will happen, and that the Lord will strengthen you which ever way the pendulum is swinging.
