  • Personal Statement

    I am a 24 year old mother to two angels. I’m born and raised in Queens, New York. I've always aspired to become a lawyer. I’ve been working in the law field for 7 years. After the homebirth of my daughter, however, my life is taking a new direction. I was so moved and touched by her birth - it really called to my heart. I am now currently studying to become a midwife. I want to encourage women to pull out their inner strength and put an end to the fears of natural childbirthing. I want to spread awareness about breastfeeding - "miracle milk" - what God intended for us to feed our little ones. Do I bash? Hell no. My first child was delivered via c-section and formula fed. I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum. I’ve educated myself and I want to spread the knowledge to less fortunate women. God bless!
