Greetings! Reading is my passion, my living, my joy! I am a former  buyer for one of the nation's largest African-American book chains, book  coach and I am also a literary consultant. Meeting and interacting with others who enjoy books will be a pleasure. During the course of a year I will review 200+ books of all genres. I can offer new authors or wanna-be authors  FREE advice on entering the world of self-publishing. Readers, I offer you a look into more diverse selection of books. For the readers, I bring them the authors they love and those they should know.

Besides reading and working, I love to visit local fairs and festivals. Booksignings and book related events are my next love. I spend my free time touring musuems and galleries in DC.

I am the owner and CEO of Black Pearls Magazine, Sankofa Literary Society and EDC Creations Media Group. The Sankofa  Literary Society Book Club wants to bridge the gap between readers,  artists and authors. We are a group of like minded indivduals coming  together to network as we read and discuss the lastest books, music, and  art. We believe reading is key that keep us forever grounded to our  beliefs, family, relationships.
