Hi, my name is Amanda. I become a mother on December 13, 2007 when my son Nathan was born. That is the day that I found my true purpose in life. I never thought that I would find a job that could be so fulfilling, but I picked the hardest job in the world to love-- being a parent.
I am married, but my husband and I seperated a while back and are going through a divorce. I do have someone somewhat new in my life, he's not really so new since we've known each other for going on eight years now, and have dated a couple times in the past, but he makes me very happy and eventually we are going to move in together and get married. He is my son's biological father and he is treating the little girl that I am carrying as his own. :)
I work for 93.1 the party, although I am on maternity leave right now due to being on high-risk and bedrest and in active pre-term labor. You would know me as Mandy Stevens.
I'm also a student, and I am going to be finishing up my degree hopefully by 2011. I am in school to be a lactation consultant certified through the IBLCE. I enjoy breastfeeding so much and helping others breastfeed that I thought I should be making a career out of it. Hopefully I will get a job right away in one of the hospitals or at the health department.

- Kids' Interests: bananas, bowling pins, his teddy bear, trains, mickey mouse, imagination movers, handy manny, toy trucks, music, books, playing the drums, his tag jr and snacking on whatever he can get his hands on.
