Our baby girl was born on September 14, 2007 @ 4:08 pm. She weighed 6lbs and 1oz and was 19 inches long. At her one month check up she weighed 9lbs 2oz and was 21 inches long. She is starting to be more and more alert and smiles all the time. She is an eating and pooping machine!

Right now it is November so we have about 6 months left in this hell hole called McAlester, OK. I hate it so much I CAN NOT wait to move on. We'll find out next month our next base- hopefully either SLC, UT or Lexington, KY. I am a SAHM and plan to be for at least the first year of Sophie's life- maybe longer depending on the financial outlook. I take classes on line and hope to graduate with my Bachelors degree in Business within 2 years.

I am married to Sophia's dad. He is a wonderful guy and a great daddy. He takes care of his girls! We've been together for 2 1/2 years but have known each other for about 8.

I get lonely in this place. I miss my friends back home in New Hampshire, and also all the friends I made when I moved to California to be with Mark. I've always been a very social person- but since we moved here I feel almost socially retarded because I don't have many people to interact with. I pray that the next 6 months fly by and that when we move- I can actually find other moms in the area to hang out with and relate to. For now, CafeMom is my savior!
