  • Personal Statement

    I absolutely adore my son, HOWEVER motherhood isn't all that I expected it would be. Especially since I am doing it alone. It has its ups and downs but all in all I wouldn't change my life for the world.

    I am currently a graduate student pursuing my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and a full-time mommy of a tiny terror. ha ha ha. That being said I would love to meet other mothers who have similar experiences as my own - raising children alone. Feeling like you're on top of the world one day and feeling like you're going to scream the next... I'm not only looking to meet single mothers, I welcome any new friendships with all mothers!

    Hey Marta! Big props to you Girl for sticking with your education even after having your son. There are definitely big sacrifices one has to make as a single-mom but I assure you the rewards far outweigh those sacrifices. In seven years I've had my share of ups and downs and yes sometimes Baz drives me nuts but then I feel his little hand in mine and look into those big brown eyes and I'm like "sacrifices, what sacrifices?"....
