About me: I like to think of myself as quiet, laid back and down to earth. My friends would all say that I am a bit quiet when they first met me and later found me to be an opinionated, open minded, obnoxious, laugh out loud kind of person who refuses to tell you what you want to hear if you ask for an honest opinion~
About my family: My son, Cedric turns 13 on the 29th of November, he is currently in the seventh grade and loves Naruto and spending time with his friends playing video games (weekends only of course!). After his dad left (long story) we spent our first three years of his life relying and taking care of each other.
We met my husband when Cedric was 3. Lonnie is a network administrator for a small non profit organization in our area, he enjoys his motorcycles, alone time with family (especially mommy) and his computer~ I guess he doesn't get enough at work!
Lonnie and I married in 2001 and officially started our lives together as husband and wife. On April 28,2005 our new bundle of joy arrived about 2 weeks earlier than expected...
Landon, now 2, is what we like to call our little ball of terror. He is full of energy, not shy at all, and has perfected the fit in 10 different ways! No matter how much he screams, says no, or yells mommy nonstop. He has been a lively addidtion in the family that we all love and enjoy having around.
"DIVERSITY"
More bi-racial children are born in this country than ever before, love for other races is something that is no longer "taboo" or the BIG secret you keep from your family and friends. My children are MIXED/BI-RACIAL/MOLLATO.... what ever the word of choice, I am the color of cocoa beans plucked right from the tree (BLACK) and my husband is Irish, his color is WHITE... Mixed children come in a beautiful array of shades and colors these days. Please open your eyes and pay attention~
