1. I'm a SAHM, with twins, that turned 3 Christmas Day, 2009. Baby turned 1 Nov. 10, 2009.
2. I majored in theater and love the arts all around, teaching the girls to be messy and that mistakes happen, we just clean them uo, no problem is a lesson I teach that leads my kids to independence. They are VERY independent!
3. I don't leave my babies with anyone byt Grama and Papa. My husband and I are about to break that chain, and it is scarry. Our first overnight trip together since the girls, other than the hospital stay with baby #3, Sydney, is this weekend and I am anxiously missing them already!
4. I LOVE God's world and how He guides and protects His children. He speaks audibly to me and is a true source of peace and comfort. I cannot say enough about my Lord and Savior, the great Redeemer and Friend who has brought me through a pituitary brain tumor, and now speaks to guide me through the symptoms again, though the MRI came back saying there is nothing on my pituitary.
5. I'm a runner and I love it. I can't run right now because the chemicals in my body are pretty messed up and I have babies to care for, so yoga and long walks are my staple exercise. I haven't been very consistent lately though.
6. I cherish my family. We are sooo close because Grama and Papa, Meema and Peepa live in Oklahoma. We're in Missouri, so we don't see them as often as we'd like to. My husband and I were put together by God and we are an awesome team. He is the stronghold and I am the dreamer. I often feel as though I am the helium balloon that he holds down to keep hovering when I want to just float away on dreams and ideas- it's good to keep just grounded enough. He always makes me feel better about things, he's just wonderful.
7. I am thankful for my friends, neighbors, and church members who are so gracious and loving. I feel surrounded by people who love the Lord as much as I do and who are reaching out to His people, giving answers to the question of "why am I here" and "what is my destiny" and "what do I do now". These are hard questions and only God can answer, but He sends people to help guide His children and get them walking the path to finding those answers. I am thankful for them.
8. I keep a journal and have since the 4th grade. I also make beaucoups of notes to keep things straight. I want to scrapbook soon, and am involved heavily with the CMOMs, Columbia Mothers of Multiples club- and I love those ladies!
9. I am a clothing addict! I like to look good, but comfortable, and I dress my three girls alike a lot. It's so much fun to do and you can certainly pick them out in a croud of other kids that way- especially if they are wearing the same color and style.
10. I like to cook, only occasionally but when I do, the fridge is full for near a month. I grate ALL the cheese and look at what I've got out to create a feast- I use up everything, not paying close attention to recipes, though I start there as a basis. I love allrecipes.com and have a dry erase board where I write my 2-week menu, which always lasts longer.
