It's complicated...  I'm a wannbe Granola Mommy.  We have three children, and we're baby-wearing, co-sleeping, and breastfeeding, which we were not able to do with our first two.  I try my best not to judge the parenting decisions of others, but have very strong opinions about what is, in general, best for children and families.  We're raising two boys, neither of whom are circumcised.  I'm pro-breastfeeding, but after struggling for so long the first time around, would never make a mother feel bad for not choosing to breastfeed.  See why it's complicated?  LOL

My favorite children's story is Where the Wild Things Are.  When Mega and I read it together, he stomps around and growls and acts like a monster.  It's great.  I love The Velveteen Rabbit and Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, too, but nothing gets such a reaction as the wild things.

I love Little House on the Prairie.  I watch the DVDs all the time and I think I have Seasons 1 and 2 memorized by now.

I'm easily amused, but also easily angered and hurt.  I am quick to forgive, but will never forget.

I love my boys and our impending arrival more than anything else in the world and if I feel they are being threatened, I revert to my most basic instincts and react like a cornered momma bear.  So, just don't back me into a corner , and you'll be fine!

Promoting a better understanding and outlook of birth is my top priority after raising my boys and creating a solid family.  Birth is where it all begins, so why not have the best possible beginning?
