Peace and Blessings!
My name is Salwa Rahim-Dillard and my friends jokingly say my husband, Deon, and I have been together since Jesus wept. We haven’t been together that long but we were grammar school, high school and college sweethearts. As best friends, business partners and proud parents we boast about our 13 year daughter, Aisha, being on the honor roll every quarter since kindergarten; and our 2 year old son, Carlos, being able to run faster than the entire family.
Everyday we thank God that we can be home when our daughter gets out of school - to indulge in her melodramatic junior high stories and help with homework; to take our son to the park in the middle of the day; and to have the ability to take romantic get-a-ways. While we value the moments spent with our children and relish our occasional “date nights,” we know the time freedoms we savor are only possible because we are entrepreneurs who believe in a life of abundance and have become skilled at quickly overcoming adversity.
In 1999, we were fortunate to open our own mortgage company, Accurate Mortgage Corporation , which was quite successful and afforded us treasured family memories, the ability to help others, exotic vacations, a beautiful custom-built home, luxury cars and a lifestyle we are thankful for. But in late 2006, the housing bubble bursted. Fortunately, we were still able to close loans but the more applications we took the more people we met losing their homes in foreclosure. Lenders were starting to fold and many mortgage/real estate professionals were starting to feel the financial strain.
As of today, the entire country is realizing that we are facing the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. There are over 300 mortgage lenders who have closed; Lehman Brothers and AIG have failed; Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Bears Stearns have been taken over by the government; 48 failed US banks with WAMU being the biggest bank failure in US history and U.S. stocks have dropped the lowest since the crash of 1987.
Unfortunately, we are experiencing the "Great Economic Divide." America is becoming a two class society, soon you will either be rich or poor. On which side do you want to be on? Deon and I chose the side where the rich reside. That's why we started our own home based business. We still own and operate Accurate Mortgage Corporation but, our home based business is truly the business of our dreams.
We are ecstatic to have found an industry that is not dependent on politically-driven legislations, wavering interest rates, flailing financing programs and swaying property values.
I am an optimistic and passionate entrepreneur and network marketing coach who is dedicated to helping others realize the skills needed to gain financial freedom during these binding times. If you are interested in growing as a person, increasing your business savvy, open to new ideas and have an insatiable desire to attract an abundance of blessings and wealth into your life, then my partners and I can help you reach your goals.
