Hello Everyone,

Let me introduce myself, my name is Kathleen, mom to two young boys ages 4 and 8. They alone are a handful to manage, but both also have Type 1 diabetes and my oldest is also ADHD. It makes for some pretty busy day’s with counting carbs, finger pokes and shots, but my kids are troopers and deal with it as if it’s just brushing their teeth.

We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, about 10 minutes north of downtown Seattle.  We're minutes away from the beach and about 30 minutes from the mountains.  Love it! 

I've just published my first book, "Escaping The Glass Cage: A Story of Survival & Empowerment from Domestic Violence".  I have also partnered with a non profit Save Exploited Women Foundation and created Embracelets of Hope.  You can visit my website for more information.
