I am somewhat quiet until you get to know me.  I spend too much time thinking and reflecting; I am one of those people that needs time alone.  I am the one everyone comes to for advice and encouragement; they know that I will be understanding, but honest.  I like to joke around, although some folks don't understand my sense of humor.  I am straight forward and honest; loyal and dedicated to my friends and family.  If someone needs me I will be there in a heartbeat.

I have been married 18 years to the most wonderful husband in the world.  He still makes me feel sexy and interesting and smart and funny.  He is my biggest fan and I am still in love with him.  We have four children, one dog, five cats (four barn, one inside), and various 4-H animal projects.  If you can't tell, we live way out in the sticks and I wouldn't want it any other way!

My favorite movie is "It's a Wonderful Life" because I am a total sap. (but don't tell anyone- I try to keep that under wraps)  Close behind are "The Princess Bride" and "Elf".   I like all kinds of music but listen primarily to contemporary Christian, country and alternative folk.  Listen to my iPod and you will bounce between Casting Crowns, Third Day, MercyMe,  A Fine Frenzy, Diamond Rio... some Kate Walsh and Carbon Leaf thrown in, as well.  I will read anything I can get my hands on- even cereal boxes left on the counter.

To stay in shape I alternate between a run/walk thing and the "totalgym" system.  I'm not a supermodel, but I try to stay healthy.  I refuse to give up chocolate, not sure I could as a matter of fact, so I try to exercise to make sure it doesn't catch up to me.
