Howdy! My name is Irma, I'm 31 and married to Cary (42). Our son Gabriel was born on December 5th, 2006, he is our pride and joy! We live in Texas, but I'm originally from Holland and moved here 3 years ago when I met Cary. We live out in the country and have chickens and horses. I'd love to meet other Christian stay-at-home moms in the area!

Some things about me and my family:
- I love chickens! I've raised a bunch of them and they're like pets to me.
- Cary loves to ride horses. In his younger days he used to ride bulls and bucking horses in rodeos.
- I can't drive, but I'm learning. In Holland I used to get around by bike!
- I had a home birth with Gabriel, assisted by a midwife.
- I plan on raising Gabriel bi-lingual (English and Dutch).
- I still breastfeed Gabriel and we also still co-sleep at night.
- I have 2 sisters and 1 brother, all younger than me. I have 2 nephews (6 and 1) and 1 niece (1). I miss them and my parents very much. We try to visit my family in Holland once a year.
- My sister and I gave birth on the same day, even though our due dates were 3.5 weeks apart! My other sister was 2 months pregnant at the time as well!
- I love to travel and see new places. My favorite country that I've visited is Greece. I would love to go to Hawaii and Italy someday.
- I used to be friends with rock band 3 Doors Down and hung out backstage with them at their shows. I also ran their European website.
- The name Gabriel means 'strength of God'. If Gabriel had been a girl, his (or in that case her) name would have been Naomi, after Cary's Grandma. I love names and my favorite forum is Baby Name Addicts.
- I love living in the USA!
