I'm the 23 year old mother to two beautiful children. Emmaleigh who was born July '07 and Ryker born September '10. I am very lucky to have them both in my life.

In addition to motherhood I am a student at Utah State University and still unsure exactly what I want to do with my life. I'm thinking about dietics.

I also have mental health concerns that make my life as a mother a struggle and put me on an interesting journey that not many can say they've shared. This in part is why we are done having children with just our two. It is also the reason we are still trying to close out a case with DCFS.

I am not a perfect mother. I don't even try. I'm a terrible house keeper, but getting better. I'm a pretty good cook, when I actually do cook, but I can pretty lazy in that regard. I'm still working out the kinks to keeping a balanced checkbook and manage the budget. I am excellent at mealplanning when I do it and can feed our family for pretty darn cheap if I do say so myself.

I love to read, but  am terrible at returning library books- a feat I used to be almost perfect act before I had kids! I enjoy the occasional movie, but I'm usually to cheap to do anything but wait 'till it comes out on redbox. I watch most of my TV out of the catalog for rent from the local hastings one disc at a time and we don't have cable which where we live means we don't have a working TV outside the movies we put in.

I am convert to the LDS church which was a big factor in how I wound up in Utah. I'm originally from Ohio. I love it in Utah but I do miss home sometimes.

I am who I am. You can take me that way or leave me becuase with all that I have going on in my life right now I can't afford to care what people think of me if they don't have control over me.
