1. My life often feel like an oxymoron = very introverted but have a lot of friends.

2. It took me a long time to appreciate all of my blessings.  But I am very thankful for them all now.

3.  In my 20s, I thought my mother wasted her life not having a great career but choosing motherhood and family first.  As a single mom, I realize that she had her priorities straight following her passion for being mother, putting us first and enjoying every minute of it.

4.  Other than about motherhood, I am commitment phobic about so many other things.  But I am working hard on it since I do want to find that special person who can become an important part of our lives.  I want to be able to roll with the punches (as long as they aren't dangerous, illegal or immoral).

5.  I am a political and news junkie (and have been one long before Baraka and Clinton announced).
