Hi everyone! I love being part of CafeMom and after learning so much about all you wonderful people, I realized I'm not sharing back in return! So here's a little bit about me.

 My first love (after my family--because that is a given!) is the ocean and being outdoors. Put me somewhere scenic, ideally near a big body of water or lots of trees, and I'll smile all day long. When I grow up I want to be an artist--anything that lets me craft, create, and be inspired sounds like the best job ever. I would love to learn how to sew. My mom made our family Christmas stockings when I was about 5 years old--30-something years later, we still use them! My favorite food is pizza, I can eat it five times a week, and love having leftover pizza for breakfast. I hate when people are mean for no reason. I worked for more than 10 years in tech publishing, and though I never considered myself a geek, I sure like my tech toys and find myself missing the days where I sat around the office chatting about GigaBytes, megapixels, and the next hot gadget.

I'm a first time mom, which is a lot different than being an aunt (both pseudo and real)  to so many little ones, and it's wonderful.
