I put a lot of thought and time into becoming a mom and find it very annoying that others don't treat the most important thing they'll ever do the same way...but I won't slam you if you've found yourself in an unexpected place.  I don't see the point in picking on someone who doesn't know any better; I'd rather help make the world a better place by educating and helping people through the tough times.  I've become a cafemom addict as a result, but I'm trying to spend less time on here as I'm tired of battling with Moms who feel it's their duty to put down those who don't follow their beliefs...its not good for the blood pressure! :)

I'm very content to let my son grow in his own time and in his own way, and don't believe in putting pressure on little ones to grow up too fast.  I have a very competitive nature and am trying very hard to not use my son as a tool for this, so I try to avoid discussing his accomplishments in a boastful way.

My son is circumsized, gets all his shots, is breastfed, and has been given rice cereal since he was two months old.  I believe I've made educated decisions regarding his health and well-being and have no time for people who try to tell me otherwise.
